Our track record
Know-how, experience and a track record on the ground are the rarest assets in forestry — and the foundation we offer investors who want to deploy capital into natural capital with the best operators.
The first cork oaks were planted at Herdade da Vinagra in the 1950s, with high-density, higher-yield stands added around 2000 — 147 ha that still produce high-quality cork today.
Herdade da Figueira and Herdade da Vinagra secured — 680 ha with clear title, alongside an SFDR Article 9 lead investor.
Greenfield works at Herdade da Figueira: reservoir rehabilitation, two transformer stations and a modern drip irrigation network. FSC certification initiated.
High-density planting at 625 trees per hectare — over 30,000 cork oaks across 45 of the planned 160 hectares, with phased planting continuing.
Formation pruning completed across 47 hectares between February and April, with 90 more planned this winter. Verra VCS registration in progress with Ecobase.
60 hectares scheduled for new high-density irrigated planting — around 40,000 cork oaks and c. 40,000 t CO₂ sequestration capacity over 50 years.
€50M deployed across 5,000 hectares and 2 million cork oaks — one of the world’s largest dedicated cork producers and a benchmark natural-capital asset in Iberia.
