Greenfield Project · Alcácer do Sal · 366 hectares.
Our flagship greenfield project in the Barrancão block. The property comprises 366 hectares including several ruins with development potential. The plantation plan covers 160 hectares of high-density irrigated cork oak at 625 trees per hectare, targeting approximately 100,000 trees. Current status: over 30,000 trees planted across 45 hectares, with phased planting continuing. Infrastructure works include reservoir rehabilitation, two transformer stations, and a modern drip irrigation network. FSC certification has been initiated and Verra VCS carbon certification is in progress with Ecobase.

Brownfield Project· Évora·314 hectares
A project combining mature cork oak stands with significant expansion potential. The property includes 147 hectares of existing high-density cork oak plantation targeted for irrigation, plus 60 hectares of clear land available for new planting.
The existing montado, established between the 1950s and 1970s, produces high-quality cork — one of the most prized agricultural outputs in southern Portugal. Current operations focus on formation pruning of neglected stands and permitting for reservoir reconstruction to support the irrigation programme.
Planting of the remaining 60 hectares is scheduled for late 2026, adding over 40,000 cork oaks. Estimated CO₂ sequestration capacity: 40,000 tonnes over 50 years.
